cuppa imageWhat expect on a Saturday evening or Sunday morning during Covid?

Currently due to Covid we are are unable to meet together in person however this has not stopped us from meeting as a church instead we have been ......

We have left the details below of what church was like before Covid, to hopefully give you a good understanding of who we are.

Where & when does the church meet?
Our Church normally meets Saturday evening at 6:00pm for 6:30pm start and occasionally meet Sunday at 10:00am We start our gatherings tea, coffee, biscuits or cakes and toast . Our meetings are normally around 1 hour and half long.  There is plenty of parking on site.

We meet at:
Bayston Hill Memorial Hall, Lyth Hill Road, Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 0DR.  Click here for more about our location including map and directions.

What should I expect when I visit the church?
On arriving you will receive a warm welcome and notice church has a very relaxed family atmosphere.  As we are small in number there is no specific welcoming team instead as a whole congregation we love welcoming new people and won't be long before you meet us all.  As a church we love worshipping so normally have around 30 mins each week we have a relevant, inspiring and challenging bible based preach.  After the preach there is always space and time for any response including being prayed for or asking any questions you may have.  We always finish with more tea and coffee.

What happens to the kids at church?
Being a church suitable for whole family is really important, we currently don't have any families with young children, so don't have any designated children's work.  Our heart is we want to be a church suitable for all so as families join we are all ready to start kids work and have an extra room booked ready for this.  To help be ready and welcoming we have some craft resources and toys and space at the back of the room (children will need to be supervised) for children to use during the preach.

What happens for young people at church?
We have a heart for young people and have young people actively involved in our meetings from playing instruments to leading worship and speaking.

Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you, if you are unsure of anything please ask.

Please feel free to contact us we would love to hear from you.
